Silicon Mechanics Hires New Vice President of Sales and Customer Experience
Cloud industry veteran Peter Prinos selected to lead company’s business development efforts

Silicon Mechanics, a leading provider of servers, storage and high-performance computing solutions to the world's most innovative organizations, today announced the addition of Peter Prinos, hired to lead the system integrator’s business development efforts. Prior to landing at Silicon Mechanics, Prinos spent three years as the Senior Director of Channel and Business Development at Panzura, a hybrid cloud storage provider, and twelve years in similar roles at Quantum. Prior to Quantum, Prinos spent nine years serving as a lawyer.

According to Prinos his, “primary goal at Silicon Mechanics is to take the company’s sales efforts to the next level as customer’s challenges evolve to more complex deployments such as Private/Hybrid Cloud, Software Defined Data Centers and HPC.” Prinos also notes “And of course, to continually improve what is already regarded as a stellar customer experience. Based on what I have learned thus far I think that next stage of growth is imminently possible.”
