New Servers with AMD Opteron™ 4100 CPUs

Two new single-socket servers featuring AMD Opteron™ 4100 processors (formerly codenamed "Lisbon") are now available. The Opteron 4100 offers
  • 4-core or 6-core CPUs
  • U/RDDR3 memory speeds up to 1333MHz
  • 6MB L3 cache per socket
  • Power management features like CoolSpeed and Enhanced APML
The Rackform nServ A109 is a 1U entry-level server with 2 fixed SAS / SATA drives. The Rackform nServ A143 is also an entry-level 1U server, but offers 4 hot-swap SAS / SATA drive bays.

Intel Xeon-Based 1P Server with Redundant Power

We have just expanded our selection of Intel® Xeon®-based single processor servers to offer you a choice that includes a redundant power supply. The Rackform iServ R153 1U server features an Intel Xeon Processor 3400 Series CPU, 6 DDR3 DIMM sockets, 4 hot-swap SAS / SATA drives, 2 PCIe expansion slots, and an efficient, redundant, power supply.

We have just published a new way for you to access online documentation for your server. Visit, and use the jump links at the top to see a list of our current or discontinued servers, grouped by platform or form factor. Locate your server model, and follow the link to the documentation page. If you don't know the model number of your server, have your serial number available and contact your Silicon Mechanics Sales Representative at 866-352-1173 for assistance.

On the documentation pages, you will find photographs, links to the product page, technical specifications, spares kit, warranty and support information, drivers, and chassis and mainboard manuals.

This information is available for all of our current servers and storage, and for discontinued servers and storage still under warranty. If you need documentation for out-of-warranty servers, visit our Downloads section.
