Storform iServ R506 Highlights Speed, Energy EfficiencyThe Storform iServ R506 is the right answer for those who need fast, energy-efficient storage. Featuring 24 2.5-inch hot-swap SAS drives, it delivers greater system performance in a 2U footprint, uses less power, and runs cooler with reduced airflow requirements. The R506 saves money by saving power and allowing greater storage density for improved data center efficiency, and is readily expandable using our Storform JBOD products.
More from Hyperform ClustersOnce more, we have expanded our high-performance computing offerings with several exciting products. Our new Hyperform HPCi for SIMULIA and Hyperform HPCi with MS Windows HPC Server 2008 join Xeon-based Hyperform HPCi ROCKS+ Integrated Cluster and Opteron-based Hyperform HPCn ROCKS+ Integrated Cluster in our impressive cluster lineup. In addition, we offer two new HPC alternatives with Hyperform SMPv B81, a blade-server-based product that takes advantage of ScaleMP Foundation's compute, memory, and I/O aggregation, and GPU products based on NVIDIA's Tesla GPUs, including the Hyperform HPCg A2401 with NVIDIA Tesla, a workstation based on the NVIDIA Tesla C1060 GPU. Read more about them all here.
Rackform Expedited RemixWe have been gratified to have received so many inquiries from our customers regarding our Rackform Expedited PreBuilt Servers! One of the important things we heard from you was that, when it came to expedited service, it was more important to you to have a few more configuration choices, and less important to have overnight delivery. Meet the Rackform Expedited QuickBuilts: you custom-configure important hardware choices (such as CPU, RAM, and drives); we build it and ship it in days, not weeks. For more information on the models and configuration options that are available, visit the Rackform Expedited Servers section of the Silicon Mechanics website.
Clearance ServersDid you know that we now have a Clearance Items section on our website? These systems are available at substantial discounts, but quantities are limited and the selection varies from day to day, so make regular visits to the Clearance Items section of our website to get the best prices on a wide variety of Silicon Mechanics servers.
Momentum Building Around Newest AMD Opteron™ ProcessorsLast November Silicon Mechanics launched products and support for the latest AMD Opteron processor technology (codenamed "Shanghai") in our dual and quad socket AMD-based servers. In January, we added the newest versions of this 45nm technology: energy-efficient HE Opteron processors, and high-performance SE Opteron processors. These processors are aggressively priced and maintain socket compatibility with previous generations of Quad-Core AMD Opteron processors. Check out our Rackform nServ servers or call our Sales Experts for more information.
