Silicon Mechanics Newsletter - April 21, 2008
The first quarter of 2008 was busy here at Silicon Mechanics, and you're invited to see what's been happening. From a whole new look for our website, to important new product offerings, we're excited about what's been taking place. A few of the highlights...

Silicon Mechanics Named to Entrepreneur Hot 100

We are proud to announce that we have been named to Entrepreneur Magazine's 2008 Hot 100, with a ranking of #29. The Hot 100 is a listing of "America's Top Fast-Growth Businesses and the Entrepreneurs Who Built Them". You can see our profile in the May 2008 issue of Entrepreneur, or view it online. We have to offer our sincere thanks to our customers -- this clearly could not have happened without you!

Customer Satisfaction Survey Results

We want to thank each and every one of our customers who responded recently to the Blue Research Customer Satisfaction Survey that we commissioned. We are pleased to report that over 92% of you say that you are very satisfied or extremely satisfied with the products, services and support that we provide. We were particularly happy to know that we perform the best in the areas that matter to you the most.

For those of you who didn't have the chance to participate in the survey, we want to invite your feedback. Email us with your comments at Have you had a great experience with Silicon Mechanics? Submit your testimonial and share it with others!

New Product Categories Expanded Product Lines
  • Spares Kits: more than components, Spares Kits can be an important part of a disaster recovery plan.
  • Bladeform 5100 Series: the latest addition to our line of blade server offerings, based on the Intel Modular Server.

Special Promotional Pricing Opportunity

Through June 30 we are making a rare opportunity available by offering promotional pricing on a select group of servers. Products include our Virtualization Server Solutions and a number of our Rackform Rackmount Servers. For a closer look at this attractively priced hardware, visit our Special Offers page. For further details, contact our Sales Department at or call 1-866-352-1173.

Resources - Collected and Organized

  • Articles on Virtualization, with an introduction to what virtualization is, and why it might make sense for you.
  • Sustainable Computing, which discusses the strategy and tactics that may help you achieve your sustainability goals.
  • We have begun our own Library, and one of the first additions was a video produced by RAM TechInsight and shot right here at Silicon Mechanics. It's about five minutes long, and it's a great way to get to know some of our Experts and to see the inside of our Bothell, WA headquarters.
  • In the coming months we will be adding to the Library: look for product information and quick-start guides, Visio stencils of our hardware for use in planning and documentation, the latest Silicon Mechanics success stories, and other items likely to be helpful to Silicon Mechanics customers and partners.
