SC10 Wrap-UpWe are back from SC10 in New Orleans, and wanted to thank all of you who visited our booth for helping to make it a great show. You can check out the photos of the Silicon Mechanics booth, and pictures of some of our partners on Facebook. We'll look forward to seeing many of you next year at SC11 right here in Seattle! Customer Satisfaction Survey Results for 2010Our sincere thanks to all of you who took part in our 2010 Customer Satisfaction Survey. As always, your feedback is highly valued, and what we've learned is already becoming part of our strategic planning for 2011. In short:
Despite high levels of overall satisfaction, we saw some of our scores slip over the past year. Post-sale support and delivery delays are the two areas in which we need to improve. Most of the issues with delays have been addressed with the addition of a new inventory financing solution. We continue to work diligently with our vendor partners to find the most efficient means of avoiding bottlenecks created by limited component availability. We are working to improve post-sale support training and information, and will follow up on each closed support ticket with a very brief email survey requesting feedback on your specific customer support experience. So why does this matter? Because we act on your feedback. For example, based on the 2009 Survey, we made some changes, and we saw the ratings of pre-sale service rise back up to 97% on this year's survey. Over the next year, we intend to provide the great products and outstanding service that will earn those better scores. Reminder: Documentation from Silicon MechanicsWe have a new way for you to access online documentation.
