Chassis Management Module Features

Remote, out-of-band management Manage all compute blades in a consistent manner irrespective of what Operating system is installed on the server or what state the server is in (Pre-boot, Post-boot or failed).
Integrated KVM switch The built-in KVM switch provides full text and graphical access to any blade server console.
Emergency management access over LAN The Serial over LAN1 feature redirects serial traffic from any blade to any management console over the network. This allows remote problem diagnosis in the event of system failures.
Upward integration into Enterprise management consoles SNMP agents on the management module allow monitoring and control of the chassis and server blades from any enterprise management console on the network.
Intel® Active Air Flow Control Automatically controls the speed of the fan based on thermal sensors in the chassis.
Intel® Light-Guided Diagnostics Quickly resolve failures via the use of a series of LEDs on the blade server.
